Having worked in the design and creative industries for over 30 years, it was during my 14 years as a Samaritans volunteer that I decided to work professionally as a psychotherapist. Now I integrate both worlds, practising as a psychotherapist while also operating as a business coach and consultant.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), which is the UK’s recognised governing body. I am also an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and a member of the Association of Infant Mental Health (AIMH).

I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1990, with individuals (adults and children) and couples. I have also spent three years as a group psychotherapist for MIND.

I firmly believe that anyone practising as a psychotherapist should be in psychotherapy themselves. I am fully committed to my own psychotherapy and my ongoing professional development. I have an absolute trust in the fundamental importance of dreams and how, if we follow them, they guide, guard and inspire us.
